TripAdvisor names Athens Brewery in Top 10 List

TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site, today announced the top ten brewery tours in America and the Terrapin Brew Company in Athens was listed as #7.

The Terrapin Brew Company is for the happy hop lover seeking to soak up some sweet sounds with their cold brew; it also offers live music and a festive atmosphere.

The brewery, which introduced its first beer in 2002, runs educational tours and tastings Thursday through Saturday evenings, offering visitors a sneak-peek at the 40,000 square foot brewing facilities. Entry is $10 and includes a souvenir pint glass and tasting tickets.

Atlanta and Athens among First Cities with Verizon 4G

Atlanta and Athens will be among the first cities with access to Verizon’s first large-scale 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.  The initial availability of a 4G LTE wireless network in Atlanta and Athens is part of the company’s major network launch in 38 major metropolitan areas by the end of the year.
