2 Metro Atlanta students win Marshall Scholarships | People
ATLANTA -- Two Georgia college students have won prestigious Marshall Scholarships, which will pay for their graduate education at a British university.

Garrett Turner from Emory University and Matt Sellers from the University of Georgia were chosen from more than 1,000 applicants for the awards funded by the British government. They are among the 36 winners chosen from across the U.S. this year.
The scholarships have been handed out annually since 1953 to encourage young Americans to study in the United Kingdom. The awards are named for former U.S. Secretary of State George C. Marshall.
Turner is studying at the University of St. Andrews, while Sellers will attend Oxford University.
